About Me

My photo
SantosoMD
As a Gynecologic Oncologist, I care for women with cancers in the ovary, uterus, cervix, vulva, vagina and placenta. I earned my Medical Degree from the University of California – Davis (UCD), after graduating Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from San Francisco State University. Then I completed the Obstetrics/Gynecology Residency Program at UCD as well as a Fellowship in Surgical Critical Care. My interest in caring for patients with cancer led me to complete an additional Fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology Fellowship at the University of Texas Southwestern, Dallas. I spend most of day either taking care of patients or working on research projects and at home reading inspiring books. Although I enjoy cooking and gardening, I am not very good at either. At home, I am an amateur handyman which explains why you may find me wondering at a local Home Depot occasionally. I received my Board Certification in Gynecologic Oncology, Surgical Critical Care, and obstetrics/Gynecology. I perform radical cancer as well non-invasive surgeries (Robotic and laparascopic). I see patients at The West Clinic’s East Memphis and Midtown locations.
